In 2018 we kicked off our sponsorship in motorcycle racing. As it is a passion of ours, we have setup to sponsor our apprentice Cooper Francis in his bid to complete the Finke Desert Race in June 2018 as well as the Hattah in the following month.
On this page we will post some photos of the trip and hopefully bring home the rail spike for all the effort that has gone into the venture.
THE LONG BIKE
The number 45 as it raced before I bought it. I managed to keep that number.
ZZR 1100 Kawasaki Machine – Still currently a work in progress. Some serious HP in the motor but need to work on the handling.
This was a former Wayne Bradley Bike and it sure is a handful on a tight circuit.

CARLI ENGINEERING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH JANES ENGINEERING PUT TOGETHER A TEAM IN PREPARATION FOR FINKE 2020. THE V6 HONDA POWERED PROLITE UNIT WAS ALL BOOKED IN UNDER THE COMBINED RACING TEAM JC RACING FOR THE GREAT DESERT RACE BEFORE THE GLOBAL COVID ISSUE CANCELLED ALL EVENTS OF THIS TYPE THROUGHOUT THE NATION.
IT IS HOPED THAT 2021 IS THE YEAR THAT OUR UNIT GETS ITS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THE 480 KLM GRUELLING TRIP FROM ALICE SPRINGS TO FINKE AND RETURN.
